Parala Maharaja Engineering College (P.M.E.C), Berhampur appeared in the year 2009 as a constituent school of Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT),Odisha. This school is one of the chief specialized foundation in the state and is supported by the legislature of Odisha. The primary goal of the foundation is to create quality technocrats in different streams . Administration of Odisha has perceived this establishment as a main foundation of notoriety and has an arrangement to create it as a focal point of magnificence under arrangement subsidizing. At present, the grounds comprises of institutional scholastic square and a workshop hinder( under development). As the design plan proposes, three increasingly scholarly squares, lobbies of home, staff quarters, world class auditoria, parks and play areas will be created in resulting periods of development. The silk City-Berhampur is situated on the eastern coast-line of Odisha. It is probably the most established city of the state acclaimed for its silk works, sanctuaries and culture. The city which is proclaimed as a civil partnership is well-associated by streets and rails to all pieces of India.
