ADMISSIONLunglei Govt. School (LGC) was set up in the year September 10, 1964 by deliberate endeavors of the then elites of the Lunglei Society. Having been provincialized in 1976 by the Government of Mizoram, the College is the first Govt. financed College in the state. It is subsidiary to Mizoram University.
Lunglei Govt. School was granted Grade 'B++' by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) on February 16, 2017.It was then perceived under area 12(b) of the University Grant Commission (UGC) Act on July 5, 2008.
Lunglei Govt. School has two floods of Bachelors qualification courses, Arts and Science, offering 8 branches of knowledge of Arts and 6 subjects of Science. LGC is the main Govt. School which offers the investigation of Philosophy in the State.
The College has one young lady's inn while another two lodgings are progressing ventures. The Consortium of Educational Communication (CEC) and Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) supported INFINIUM and EDUSAT satellite recipient have been introduced in 2008, to bestow better instruction in the College. A Certificate course in Computer Application was begun at the College from July 27, 2009 with the money related help of UGC.
