Amrapali University (AU) is a private university established in 1999. The campus is spread over an area of 19 acres. AU is recognised by the UGC. Moreover, Amrapali University is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Further, AU is affiliated with Uttarakhand Technical University, Kumaun University, Uttarakhand Open University, and Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education.

As per the data available on the official website, the institute has released the list of students placed in the Faculty of Technology & Computer Applications and the Faculty of Hospitality Management during Amrapali University placements 2024.
