G.L.S. University was came into existence in 2015 and located in Ahmedabad (Gujarat). Gujarat Law Society (GLS) is the sponsoring body of the University which was established in the year 1927, is one of the largest and oldest educational institutions in the State of Gujarat. Providing an ideal and creative learning environment is the aim of the university. University provides various programs at graduate, post graduate and doctoral level with more than 25,000 students at various levels within the university and its constituent colleges/institutions.   Ph. D. Programme 

  • With at least 55%  (50% for Differently Abled, SC, ST, OBC – non-creamy layer, Master's degree prior to 19th September 1991) Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree.
  • Candidates are eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the Ph. D. Degree in the same Institution in an integrated programme who have cleared the M.Phil. course work with 
  • at least 55% marks in aggregate 
    
  • Candidate has to appear for the University’s GReAT (GLS Research and Aptitude Test)
  • UGC NET/UGC-CSIR NET/SLET/UGC JRF/GATE/M.Phil. qualities candidates may be exempted from appearing for the test.

  Admission Process

  • Download the Admission form from www.glsuniversity.ac.in.
  • Submit the form along with fees of Rs.500 to the office after filling it and attaching necessary documents.
  • Appear for the test, if applicable.

    GLS University Admissions-

    GLS University offers admission in only online mode. However, the students seeking admission to the MBA course must register themselves for the required exam.

    Step 1: Visit the official website of the university.

    Step 2: Select Online Applications for UG or PG programs under the Admissions tab on the redirected page.

    Step 3: Now click on the “Click here to fill Application online” link.

    Step 4: Complete the registration process after which the User ID and Password will be generated.

    Step 5: Log in to complete the application process and proceed to pay the application fee.

    Step 6: Application fees can be paid by Debit/ Credit card/ Net Banking.

    Step 7: Take the print of the duly filled-in form, get it signed by a parent or guardian and send the form at the university address through the registered post/speed post.
