Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City, Chittoor known as IIIT Sri City (IIITS) was established in 2013 by Ministry of Education, Government of India as an Institute of National importance by an Act of Parliament. IIITS is one among the 20 Institutes across India, focusing on Information Technology education, research and development. The institute is located in Sri City (www.sricity.in) located about 60 KMs from Chennai on the Nellore Highway. The nearest airports are Chennai (70 KMs) and Tirupati (70 KMs). IIITS The Institute was setup by the Government of India along with Government of Andhra Pradesh and Industry Partners represented by Sri City Foundation as a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) institution. The Institute is governed by the Board of Governors consisting of eminent personalities from the Government, Industry and Academia. IIITS offers B. Tech, M.Tech, M.S. and Ph. Boys Hostel : As the work for students’ hostels is under progress, we have leased out apartments within Sri City and neighboring areas for providing accommodation to students. Each room in the hostel is provided with a bed, table, chair and cupboard. Dining service is available within the Institute for boys. In addition to the existing mess, we would be coming up soon with cuisine comprising North Indian dishes. It is mandatory for students to avail mess facilities. Buses ply between hostel and Institute for pick up and drop during academic hours and for dining. Students are free to move around the campus up to 10 p.m. and some of the study areas are open for longer time for the benefit of students.

Library : The institute library offers more than thousands of books and scholarly publishes across the globe. Students and staff can take reference and help from the library anytime they wish. The library contains all kinds of educational books, and it is digitalized to make book searches easier. Students can spend time in the library for various projects and research works.

Sports : Students are highly encouraged to participate and engage in various sports activities to keep themselves healthy apart from academic studies. Since academic pursuance can be quite stressful, it is necessary that students make use of the sports facilities provided by the institution. Admission Process of Indian Institute of Information Technology in Chittoor

The candidates must appear for the JEE Main examination. The candidate should register by visiting the official website. The shortlisted candidate should attend the JoSAA counselling procedure. The candidates should meet the IIIT Sri City cutoff. The candidates will be shortlisted for IIIT Sri City admissions based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination. The final selected candidates will be informed about seat allotment through a registered phone number or email ID. The candidate should submit the necessary documents without fail. To complete the IIIT Sri City admission procedure, the candidate should pay the course fee to freeze the seat.
