The College has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and affiliated to Kerala University for Health Sciences (KUHS). D.Pharm course has the approval of Directorate of Medical Education, Govt. of Kerala. The courses are designed with a focus to help individuals to pursue a career in pharmaceutical sciences. Admission Process for Al Shifa College of Pharmacy

Step 1:-

You can obtain prescribed application form of the college / Admission office by remitting the cost of it in cash/DD.

Step 2:-

When the application is accepted by the college, the candidates should remit the Prescribed fees to the college and the admission will be confirmed after verification of the originals of the following documents.

Eligibility

• 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate for optional subjects.
• A pass in D.Pharm course with a minimum of 50% marks from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
• Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
• Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

LIBRARY

The college has a spacious Library with a vast collection of books and manuals for the support of students, Faculties, researchers. It has separate reference sections for both our students and faculties. The latest journals (both National & International), periodicals& newspapers in regional language and English are available in the reading room.

Computer Lab

Students, faculty and staff have access to the computer labs, which provide the tools and technologies to produce websites, edit papers, complete class assignments, communicate via email, conduct data analyses and access library resources. Microsoft Windows software is available for word processing, statistics, spreadsheets and database management. A variety of graphics and website-creation software programs are also available..

This lab features 20 personal-computing workstations with Microsoft Windows and Office applications, plus printer and scanner capabilitiy. A number of specialty software packages, such as graphic, web design and statistical analysis programs, are also available. Lab consultant staff can assist students with little or no prior computer experience.

 HOSTEL

Sharing accommodation is provided to the Male & Female Students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel amenities and educational facilities are helping the students for leading a balanced life of study and leisure.

The students are provided with Cupboard, Cot, Chair and Table. Other requirements have to be brought by the students.Mess will be common, students shall specify their choice Vegetarian or Non-Vegetarian.Students shall keep the Hostel Warden informed of their illness to render timely help in case of any emergency. Transportation facilities will be provided to the hospital in such situations.Study hours for the students are prescribed and strictly followed. Students indulging in immoral activities will be punished severely.
