Haldia Institute of Education in Medinipur Admission 

Institute of Education, Haldia, established in 2004  for extending the hand of co operation in the developments of teacher education and teachers’ training in the region of West Bengal  hence to produce relevant teachers for society. This institute conducts B.Ed. course from the year 2004 with the affiliation from Vidyasagar University and now affiliated to West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration (WBUTTEPA). Our continuous priority is to ensure that our students learn in a sensitive and healthy college environment that respects and responds to student’s differences as well as their similarities. Our institute earnestly strives to achieve academic excellence and places great emphasis on inclusion, equality, integrity, sustainability and professionalism for future teacher. The duration of the B.Ed, course is two academic years which begins in July and ends in June. The classes usually start from first working day of July and the final University Examination is held each semester as and when conducted by the University.

UGC/AICTE Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions 2007. They are also informed about various penal and administrative actions that may result if one is found guilty of ragging, either actively or passively.

Gymnasium

A fully equipped Gymnasium has been set up by the financial assistance of Youth Service and Sports Department, Government of West Bengal.

Hostel

Khejuri College Babu Jagjivan Ram Central Girls’ Hostel (SC) provides boarding and messing facilities for Scheduled Caste girl students of the college and the adjoining area. Students studying in classes XI and XII can also reside in the Hostel. The total capacity of the hostel is 100 residents.

Smart Classroom

The College has an air-conditioned smart Classroom provided with broadband connection, overhead projector, computer and audio system. This is regularly used by various Departments for ICT enabled classes as well as for accessing Web Lectures or attending Webinars.

Seminar Hall

The Seminar Hall of Khejuri College has been witness to various Seminars, Workshops, Add-on Courses and Skill-Enhancement Initiatives. The Hall is air-conditioned and is provided with overhead Projector. It has a seating capacity of about one fifty spectators. 

Canteen

The College has separate Canteen for Staff and Students. To ensure safe drinking water for students, a water filter has been setup. Moreover, an RO Filter provides drinking water supply to the AdministrativeBuilding for the staff.
