The need for having a B.Ed. College in Diphu has been felt by many educationists, parents, guardians and also by the senior citizens of Diphu town way back in 1975. But then, it was a distant dream for the populaces. After much hurdles and difficulties, the dream was later came into a reality. This was happened aftersome leading citizens andofficials of the town took the responsibility for its establishment. Since then the collegebegan its new journey and never get fatiguedto encourage the pupil teachers to be global citizen, serving human being at large through the noble profession of teaching.The long felt educational need and distant dream came true only when the college had been established with the relentless initiatives of Shri Bharat Kumar Timung, the then Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) along with some senior citizens of Diphu Town, viz.Dr. Sarsing Terang, Shri Tenzing Ingti, Fr. John Timung,  Shri Padma Kanta Baruah, Shri Ratan Kro, Shri Satish Sarma (Inspector of School), Shri Baliram Kalita, Shri D.N. Choubey, Prof. Kumudeswar Sarma, Prof. U.B. Pandey, Shri Ranjit Sen and many other intellectuals who will be honourably remembered forever in the history of Diphu B.Ed. College.

Admission Process of Diphu B.Ed. College 

Diphu B.Ed. College offers 3 year undergraduate programmes in both General and Honours courses. The courses offered are B.Com (Hons.), B.Com, BA, BA (Hons.), and B.Sc (Hons.) in various specializations. Admission to these courses will be done through CUET followed by counselling.

The SPM College offers 2 year duration PG courses to the students on the basis of a cutoff list prepared by the Delhi University every year. The SPM College offers only Master of Arts (M.A.) in 3 specialisations: Sanskrit, Political Science and Hindi. The M.A. course is offered only to 25 students.

Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET UG scores.

Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted. Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.

Upon acceptance of a seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.

Big companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Amazon, and Samsung provide job opportunities here giving a decent CTC to students applying. Projects are given to students to enhance their resume and try to bag the best job they can get..also it gives a personality for interview..the average package is like 5 lack and almost 40 percent of students sit for placement but few do get into...my plans for future is to keep carrying my studies for masters.Placements offers come every year, it depends on your hard work, marks and content and knowledge you will get that job or not.They provide approx.1.5L annually packages to students. The amount of package differ from course to course.Students become eligible for campus placement in the 6th sem (in the last year of their graduation degree), And I'll go for higher studies in the same field. (For master's degree) As there are not many options for a bachelor's degree. Placements are basically starts from 3rd year pass out students but it totally depend from company to company. Some companies provide placements opportunities from 2nd year itself.Although internships start availing from 1st semester and go throughout your graduation.
