Indira Gandhi National College is situted in the lap of nature and shining in the glory and suplendour of lush-green fields, and beautified to serenity and sweetness of natural environment, Indira Gandhi National College was devise fathered and brought into existing by Late Sh. Om Parkash Garg the then MLA, by enlisting the support of the leading disposition of the area and mobilizing the necessary funds for this mammoth project. 37 acres of land for the aim was contributed through village Panchayat Dhanora.
Cultural Activities
The college offers its candidates numerous opportunities for co-curricular activities to enrich their cultural interests. The cultural committee of the college encourages the candidates to take part in a wide diversity of cultural competitions such as singing the debates, dancing, creative writing etc. and holds many cultural activities throughout the year.
National Cadet Corps (India) (NCC):
NCC is the Indian military cadet corps with its Headquarters at New Delhi. National Cadet Corps is a Navy and Air Force, Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary operation which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and Universities all over India.
