ADMISSIONThe R.C. Technical Institute was built up by Rao Bahadoor Ranchhodlal Chhotalal (The First Nagarpati and pioneer of material industry in India) in year 1910 at Saraspur,Ahmedabad.
Later in the year 1930,this organization was given over to the then State Government of Bombay. Initially,the establishment was running declaration courses in Mechanical,Electrical,Textile Spinning,Textile Weaving and Textile Processing. In the year 1947, these declaration courses were supplanted by new Diploma programs in Textile Manufacturing and Textile Processing.
Looking to the need of businesses, the programes like Printing technology,Mechanical Engineering,Electrical Engineering,Computer Engineering,IT Engineering and Civil and so on are included step by step. To accomodate this extension in environmentaly perfect and layer zone, the foundation is moved to the new grounds at sola,ahmedabad in june 1997.
