Conducting laboratory testing of raw materials, latex, and other processed chemicals 

Conducting physical and chemical testing of latex rubber products for quality as per laid down methods and specifications

Carrying out housekeeping, reporting and documentation, quality checking, and problem identification activities

WORK ENVIRONMENT

It needs one to be on their toes

Need not handle a team

Local traveling may be a part of this job role

Part-time work and contractual jobs may be available in some cities

Work from home option is not available

KEY COMPETENCIES

In-depth knowledge of basic chemistry and simple chemical calculations 

Knowledge of different standard reference materials 

Knowledge of different raw materials in latex compounding, processing/product manufacturing, and performance  

Ability to use different testing equipment and national/international standard test methods for different materials
