M.PHIL Prakrit and Jain agama is a full-time two years duration course. Agamas are writings of Jainism dependent on the talks of the tirthankara. The talk conveyed samavasarana (divine lecturing lobby) is called Śhrut Jnāna and involves eleven angas and fourteen purvas. The talk is recorded by Ganadharas (boss trains), and is made out of twelve angas (divisions). It is commonly spoken to by a tree with twelve branches. This structures the premise of the Śvētāmbara Jaina Agamas or standards. These are accepted to have begun from Rishabhanatha, the first tirthankara.
