Government polytechnic ,Champaran is one of the prestigious institute for technical Education in Diploma Engineering.It is under administrative control of department of Science and Technology.It was established in 2016. Its newly constructed state of art campus with Administrative Building,Academic Block,3-Hostels,workshop,staff Quater was inaugrated by the H’onble Chief Minister of Bihar Shri Nitish Kumar on 1st November 2018.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. The computer centre has equipped more than 50 computers with intel Pentium IV machines. A leased line connection for the internet facility is also in process. Also, EDUSET Lab was established in college.

The college library has fully air-conditioned buildings with enough infrastructure to meet the needs of students. It has a vast collection of many texts and reference books besides other resource materials.
