University of Ladakh was established in 2019 and has 2 campuses, one in Leh and other in Kargil. It is amongst the Trans-Himalayan institute of higher learning and research. University of Ladakh Infrastructure and Facilities
UOL Leh provides facilities for the holistic development of the students. This includes laboratories, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, NSS, NCC, and more which are mentioned below:
Library: The University has a Central library which has Books, Back Volumes, Journals, Periodicals, Databases, Magazines, Newspapers, e-Resources, e-Journals, e-Books, etc. It has a reading hall, and provides reference services, OPAC, reprographic services, inter-library loan, INFLIBNET, plagiarism detecting tools, etc.
Conference Hall: The conference hall is well-ventilated and is equipped with audio and LCD display facilities. It is used for conducting seminars, workshops, and conferences and can accommodate 65+ members.
Canteen: The students are provided with hygienic food and beverages. The canteen is spacious, has a well-maintained hall, and can accommodate 30+ students at once.
Hostel: The girls and boys are provided with separate accommodation facilities. The hostels have mess room, TV, recreational facilities, warden, indoor sports facilities, and all the basic amenities.
Health Centre: The students are provided with health care facilities in a comprehensive manner. The University has a Health Care Centre which has a doctor and a trained nurse catering to the medical requirements of the students.
