About Us

The Institution of Permanent Way Engineers (India) is a specialized body set up under the sponsorship of Railway Ministry for sharing information and experience of different Railway Engineers associated with Permanent Way (Railway track), scaffolds and different structures. The Institution was shaped on May 18, 1967 with its Headquarters at Pune and was in this way enrolled as a Public Trust Office at Pune on 28.7.1972. 

The Institution has been assuming an essential job in scattering learning of changeless way, scaffolds and different structures among different Railwaymen. 

Our Aim 

The point of the Institution is to encourage scattering and sharing of specialized learning identifying with plan, development and upkeep of Permanent Way, scaffolds and different structures among the people related with it. To this end, the Institution advances and organizes workshops, addresses, talks, displays and so forth for the data and advantage of the individuals from the Institution and furthermore distributes and flows Technical data to encourage trade and sharing of thoughts.
