The foundation had its unassuming beginnings in 1881, as a young ladies pathshala — a minor elementary school, established by Mr A Venugopal Pillai, which turned into a center school, overseen by Mr. C V Padma Rao Mudaliar, and after 49 years, in 1930, the pathshala scored into a secondary school On April 12, 1932, the young ladies pathshala was re-initiated as Keyes High School for Girls' The establishment stone for the school was laid by previous Chief Minister of A P , Late Sri T Anjaiah in the year 1981 The degree school was named after "Dewan Bahadur Padma Rao Mudaliar, who was a pioneer in ladies' instruction He was the dad — in-law of Smt Bhagyalaxmi Natarajan, the then Honorary Secretary of Keyes Education Society The school was set up in the year 1982, by the Keyes Education Society, denoting the century festivities of Keyes High School for Girls, and bears expressive declaration of the devoted endeavors by incredible visionaries.
