Established in 2001, CFESM is located in a very tranquil setting on the outskirts of Pune city. The fresh and secluded environment allows students to focus on their studies. The curriculum is designed around regular practical and technical visits. Students are regularly exposed to a variety of fire extinguishing devices and equipment. To meet the needs of Outstation students, separate rental hostels and quality measurement facilities for boys and girls are provided at affordable rates. CFESM primarily focuses on innovative approaches to fire protection engineering and security management. There is a very noble cause to meet the needs of society and the country by providing the highest standards of effective education and training to students in this field, and ultimately the loss of precious lives and loss of valuable property due to fires. leading to losses. CFESM continuously strives to achieve this goal by conducting various courses including extensive practical/technical visits/ancillary training programs.

Applicants wishing to register for a CFESM College of Fire Engineering and Safety Management courses must register online. Complete application forms must be submitted via the College's website. Applicants must upload original documents and recent passport-sized photos. The admission form proposed by the admission committee and approved by the director allows candidates to pay the prescribed fee within the prescribed time. Changing subjects is only allowed with the permission of the principal. Change of department, from Science to Arts, is allowed only if the candidate has achieved the required percentage of marks as prescribed for admission to that department. The College administration may discontinue a course in case there are not enough students for a particular course.
