About Us

Advancement Management Institute (DMI) was set up on February 13, 2014 according to a craving of the Government of Bihar to set up a High Performing Knowledge Institution (HPKI). Motivated by and perceiving the developing requirement for improvement the executives experts, the Government of Bihar stepped up to the plate and build up DMI as an independent foundation. The justification of DMI is best caught in its central goal. "To engage and introduce participatory administration and the executives of organizations, ventures and assets for upgrading vocations and producing feasible improvement". 

DMI attempts to enable grassroots through: 

• Formation of a framework of Development Management Professionals, through post-graduate scholastic instructing programs; 
• Improvement of capabilities for Development Management Praxis, through Competencies Enhancement Programmes (CEP); 
• Direction of Vision, Values and Leadership Practices towards Good Governance, by working with associations and organizations at various levels; and 
• Commitment in organized trans-disciplinary Action Research and Policy Advocacy, through its Collaborative Action Research and Education (CARE) focuses.
