Ratnam College of Arts, Science & Commerce, affiliated to the University of urban center associate degreed re-accredited consecutively thrice with an ‘A’ grade by NAAC, was established in 1983 and has since then steady evolved to ascertain itself united of the leading establishments of upper education in urban center. Its individuality lies in its unapologetic insistence on discipline as high priority, the key to educational excellence and character building that informs the tone and tenor of all areas of field life and on the far side.
The College is called in memory of the late mother of its Founder-President whom he lost at the age of 1.
Ratnam College occupies an area of pride among the sixty five establishments of the NES-SVB cluster supported by Dr R. Varadarajan. the faculty is that the results of the vision and pioneering efforts of the Founder President WHO place his heart and soul into realizing his mission to form quality pedagogy accessible to the poor and under-privileged sections of society. Over the years the College} has appreciably widened its reach to incorporate students from all sections of society and has consequently fully grown in faculty and infrastructural amenities that cater to over 2500 students. It currently offers a variety of courses in Humanities, Commerce, Science, Management and additionally many short term, add on and talent development courses that cater to the various wants of scholars with wide variable potentialities and fittingly empower them to become made professionals in an exceedingly technology driven, competitive world.
