LIBRARY
The College Library and Information Centre has resources facilitating the Students with the latest Technology in accordance to the International Standards.The College Library Contains 25682 Volumes of books with 5548 titles and 1735 CDs.The Library also subscribes to 36 National Journals, 211 International Journals, 34 Magazines and 16 newspapers and also has subscription to access IEEE, ASME, IETE and IEI Online Journals and other publications. RMKCET provides the NPTEL (National Program Technology Enhanced Learning) through online and web video courses in engineering and humanities stream.To add to the wealth of options, RMKCET also has institutional membership in the Libraries of Anna University, British Council Library, DELNET (Developing Library Network, New Delhi), NDL (National Digital Library of India), IEI and IETE.The Library Services are automated through the Standard Library Software package called "Autolib 5.2 version". The Circulation System is fully Computerised and all the documents are bar-coded.
HOSTEL
Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls. Boys Hostel has 100 rooms and can accommodate about 300 students and the Girls hostel has 20 rooms, which can accommodate about 70 students. The hostel rooms are spacious, adequately ventilated, well maintained and furnished with necessary accessories. The hostel also has a separate gymnasium and beauty parlour for the girls and a gymnasium, and air-conditioned saloon for the boys. The hostel, in addition, has a general store for provisions required by the students.
CANTEEN
A Sound body is essential for a sound mind.Healthy and nutritive food is served. The hostel kitchen has facilities for steam cooking with gas stoves. There are four dining halls covering an area of about 200 sq.m for accommodating large number of students at a time.
HEALTH CARE
A clinic, with a few beds along with on call Doctor facility for 24 Hours to take care of, the health requirements of the hostel students, is also made available.Separate sick rooms for both boys and girls are available.
ATM
To facilitate emergency with drawl of money, our college has Indian Overseas Bank ATM in the college premise itself.
GYMNASIUM
There are separate gyms for both girls and boys. Both the gyms are equipped with latest equipments.

The placement cell continuously works to identify requirements of companies and co-ordinates with the training cell and the career development cell to train the students. The Team maps the right talent to the right industry. It has been working meticulously to achieve 100% placements year after year. The placement cell focuses more on giving opportunities in core industries to the students.The placement cell has introduced “Earn While You Learn” model through paid internships. The students are prepared for interview and are placed for internship. The students are paid a stipend, ranging from Rs. 10,000 – Rs. 25,000/- during their internship period. The internship model helps the students and the corporate to understand each other better, paving way for the students to get placed in the companies. The cell continuously monitors their progress and facilitates the students to upgrade their skill-set appropriately. Special timetable and procedures are designed to facilitate the students to complete their regular curriculum during their internship.
