Shaheed Udham Singh Government College affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala and set in Sunam subdivision of Distt. Sangrur within the Malwa belt of geographic area, the College is serving the scholars of this space. the inspiration stone of the College was arranged by Honourable Sardar Gurnam Singh, the then Chief Minister of the geographic area on thirty-first Gregorian calendar month,1969. the inspiration day features a nice significance because it is a martrydom day of the worthy son of Asian nation, sufferer Udham Singh UN agency was born at Sunam. Hence, the College is known as once this true son of Asian nation as sufferer Udham Singh Memorial Degree College. The mortal remains of sufferer Udham Singh were brought in 1974 underneath the worthy leadership of the then Chief Minister & former President of Asian nation, Giani Zail Singh UN agency showered his blessings, by declaring the College being condemned by the geographic area Government.
