Shridevi Institute of Engineering & Technology may be a product of Honorable Dr M. R. Hulinaykar, (Chairman and Managing Trustee, SCT, Tumakuru). he's the President of Sri Shridevi public trust (R.), that is running twelve establishments below numerous streams of education. His love for education and take care of his native district manifested itself within the style of this College.
SIET was established within the year 2002 with the only real aim to impart quality Technical Education. it's approved by AICTE to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi Karnataka state and presently offers collegian & Postgraduate Programmes with an annual intake of 540 severally.
At present, faculty offers half dozen Under-Graduate Programmes, half dozen Post Graduate Programmes and half dozen hydrogen ion concentration.D. analysis Programmes – covering ‘Engineering & Technology’, ‘Biotechnology’ and ‘Management’ streams.
