JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE) was established within the year 1997 at Bangalore and is underneath the umbrella of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysore. JSSATE is that the results of the vision of our President, His quality Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji to proactively participate in establishing a world category establishment for Technical Education. The field is found on a sprawling twenty-one.17 acres land enclosed by lush inexperienced plantation on the South-Western fringe of Bangalore town. The establishment is attached to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, India.
At present JSSATE, Bangalore has seven underneath Graduate and 4 Post Graduate program in Engineering beside a post Graduate program in Business Administration. All the Departments are recognized as “research Centres” from VTU, Belagavi. over a hundred and twenty candidates are following analysis programs at JSSATE, Bangalore. the whole strength of scholars is over 2850
JSSATE, Bangalore has a wonderful infrastructure with state-of-the-art instrumentation and machinery as laboratory facilities. The establishment has spacious lecture rooms and also the laboratories. the full building is networked and has centralized browsing facility with a hundred and twenty Mbps dedicated net facility. the whole faculty has a Wi-Fi facility.
The Institute has extremely qualified school. The Institute has initiated a variety of multidisciplinary and multi-institutional R&D programs with AICTE, DST and alternative Departments. underneath the R & D activity, the Institute has preoccupied the planning associated fabrication of bio-diesel plant unitedly with a business and it's sponsored by Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of Asian country.
