K.A. H. M. Unity women’s College, Manjeri was established in 1991 and is run by Muslim Educational and Cultural Association (MECA), a registered society and as the first women’s educational institution in the field of higher education in Malappuram district in Kerala. The college was founded by the visionary, Janab Korambayil Ahamed Haji. He envisaged the institution as a center based on the values of integrity and social commitment, promoting learning and culture. The college strives to produce intellectually competent, morally upright and spiritually inspired citizens in the service of the nation.

Girls Hostel
The college hostel, functions in a permanent building on the college campus. Hostel accommodation is available for a limited number of students. Those who wish to join the hostel shall submit a separate application after obtaining admission to the college and shall pay the establishment charges and caution deposit at the time of admission. The mess dues and rent are to be paid monthly.

The College Library and Information Centre is working on a separate multi-facility with an area of 5000 square feet. The college Library has a collection of 18000 Volumes and currently subscribes to 93-periodicals. collections in the Library are Classified and cataloged according to the DDC (Dewey Decimal Classification ) scheme. The Library is completely computerized with standard software. Internet Access Facilities are also available in the Library There is a good collection of Standard. Textbooks in all subjects and Reference materials such as Dictionaries, Encyclopedias Directories, etc. in reference to the reading room. Text Book section contains standard Text Books on all Subjects. They are loaned to deserving students for a period of one year.

The college has its own fleet of buses which punctually bring students from different corners of the district to the college. At present, it owns seven buses with a seating of 50 each solely owned by the head of the institution. The system operates by collecting a nominal fee from the students. There are eleven trips in the morning and evening as a course of routine. The facility is also arranged for the special needs of NSS and NCC.

5th and 6th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, Kinfra, and a lot of companies are offered placement.30 percentage students are getting placed through this program. MCA is my plan after getting my degree.
No, our college doesnt provide any kind of placement and other duties. But some of our collegues will now get guest lecture post on our college upon interview basis. There is no any internship programmes or something like dat.
Our college does not provide any job placement as it is a private instution but it assure that every student work for their goal so that they may become someone in the future they train the students in such a way that even if the whole world look down on them they must stand on their own feet and show them that he is can also achieve what everyone achieved by pressuring the students.
I don't know about the placements and internship. But yes job placement was held with the collaboration with Niit institute. Yes interview were held on that day for the job to achieve the seats. Experience overall is very Good
