Co-operative Institute of Technology, Vadakara Kerala was established in the year 1999 as Public Educational Institute to provide higher education to build a career in the field of Engineering and Computer Applications. Co-operative Institute of Technology is approved by the reputed AICTE, and is affiliated with CUSAT, Kochi. Management of Co-operative Institute of Technology, Vadakara is working under Dr. Joseph O. Admission Process for Co-operative Institute of Technology 

• Admission to the B.Tech programs are done through Common Entrance Exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala.
• The admission to B.Tech Lateral is done through Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LET) conducted by Govt. of Kerala.
• For admission in the MCA program, entrance examination will be conducted by the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology for the selection of candidates. A Candidate seeking admission to the direct second year of MCA course is selected on the basis of marks obtained in recognized regular bachelor's degree.
• Candidates seeking admission to the course have to apply online through the website of the Director of LBS Centre for Science and Technology.
• Application Fee for General and SEBC candidates is INR 1,000 (Rupees Thousand Only). In the case of SC/ST candidates and those eligible for SC/ST benefits the application fee is INR 500 (Rupees Five Hundred Only).
• Application fee can be remitted at any one of the branches of the Scheduled Bank (to be notified) in Kerala.
• The application form for admission to B.Tech courses can either be downloaded from the official website of CAPE Engineering Colleges
• The application fee for B.Tech courses under NRI quota seats will be INR 600 which shall be remitted only by way of Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of Travancore in favor of the Principal of concerned Engineering Colleges.
  
• No fee concession shall be allowed to SC/ST/SEBC/OBC/OEC candidates.
• Application fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances. Applications without application fee will summarily be rejected.

Co-operative Institute of Technology Facilities

The facilities includes 24 hour service of well-equipped operation theatre with modern facilities, 24 hour service of well-equipped Labour rooms, 24 hours Clinical LAB with Fully Automated Machines, Most modern CT Scan, Cardiac care unit with ventilator facilities, Intensive care unit, TMT and Echo, Blood Bank Unit, Cathlab, ESWL, Dialysis unit, Peadiatric ICU, Mobile dispensary, Ambulance services, Centralised Gas Plant, Centralised sterlisation Unit, Sewage Treatment Plant, Fire and Safety, Incinerator etc.

Skill Development Centre

Skill and Knowledge Development Centre(SKDC) is a new venture in the field of Professional Education. SKDC offers training and consultancy services to corporate and organizations. It has successfully provided training programme for the employees in Co-operative sector apart from rendering consultancy services.

The Engineering Colleges established by CAPE are College of Engineering Muttathara in Thiruvananthapuram district, College of Engineering Perumon and College of Engineering Pathanapuram in Kollam district, College of Engineering Aranmula in Pathanamthitta district, College of Engineering & Management in Alappuzha district, College of Engineering Kidangoor in Kottayam district, College of Engineering Vadakara in Kozhikode district, College of Engineering Thalassery in Kannur district and College of Engineering Trikaripur in Kasargode district. Management Institute

The Management Institute under CAPE, Institute of Management & Technology(IMT) is situated in Punnapra, Alappuzha district. IMT’s MBA programme provides opportunity for an intensive and intellectually challenging advanced study of Management, combining both theoretical modules and practical exposure. The Institute believes in participatory learning rather than conventional teaching. The pedagogy includes case studies, panel discussions, seminars, business games, role plays, organisation studies and interaction with Managers and Entrepreneurs. Exposure to industry and interaction with the practicing Managers through the summer placement and final project study enable the students to get a real feel of the functioning of the organisation.
