Siddharth Law College, Gandhinagar is set up by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Education Society, in the capital city of Gujarat state in 1990, during the hour of birth century year which was praised as "SOCIAL JUSTICE YEAR" (1990-1992) by the Government of India, for bringing socio-legitimate mindfulness especially in the capital city of Gujarat and society when all is said in done. 

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Education Society felt the requirement for beginning new Law Colleges in the country and in reverse territories of Gujarat in the year 1984 as to bring Equality, Fraternity, Brotherhood and to give Justice in the general public and subsequently the general public had built up Two Law Colleges, in Gandhinagar and Kamrej (Surat).
