Cosmic College of Education, Kathua was established in 2004 by Cosmic Education Trust, Kathua a registered body. It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress. The college is affiliated to University of Jammu, Jammu. It is also recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur. It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with “B” Grade – (CGPA Score 2.82 on a 4 Point Scale in 1st Cycle) on 10th March 2012. The college is imparting instructions to the students for Bachelor of Education Course. ISO 9001-20089 Certified & by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) under Act, 1956. Cosmic College of Education so established by the trust vide Govt. order No.HE/Recog./pvt.- Inst/40-99 dated 27-11-2004 & is affiliated with the University of Jammu, vide University Order No. CDC/2005/3901-12-Inst/40-99 dated 6-1-2005. Mathematics Lab
A place where students can learn & explore mathematical concepts and verify mathematical facts and theorems through a variety of activities using different materials, these activities help the students to explore, to learn to stimulate interest and develop favourable attitude towards mathematics. Our math lab is adequately equipped with models charts, graphs, pictures, poster etc.
Technology Lab
Since Twenty First century is the age of science and information Technology, the college has the facility for imparting quality education to the trainees by using modern technological devices viz the use of OHP, LCD, CD Player, Cassette Players, DVD, Slide projector etc. These are readily available in a spacious and well ventilated Technology Lab.
Language Lab
In the present global technical Scenario, there is a need to communicate effectively in English. It has become a necessity than a privilege. The main objective of Language Lab is to prepare students to overcome language barriers and to develop a positive attitude towards language learning.
Social Science Lab
The college has a well equipped Social Science room cum laboratory. It is well equipped with equipments, apparatus as required for the subject which helps in creating and maintaining a much needed congenial atmosphere for effective work room for the pupil/ teachers.
Psychology Lab
The Lab is equipped with latest apparatus and psychological tests to acquaint the students with the objectives and administering of these tests, Many a times these tests are administered on the students and the results thereof are communicated to the students to make them aware about the importance of these tests.
Computer Lab
The Lab is fitted with computers and Laptops with internet facility, printers and scanner. To make the students computer literate there are sufficient number of computers that are accessible to not only to the students but also to all the faculty members. Special class for those who opt for other papers and also organised project work. Online data entry and internet work is the speciality of our computer lab.
Science Lab
Science lab is fully equipped with Microscopes, balances, charts and models: The Lab is all purposeful for demonstration of practicals of Bio Sciences and physical sciences that scientific temper is inculcated among the students to train the students to handle the equipment and train them to give demonstration of the lesson taught in theory.
Library
The College of Education has a specious library block of 21000 sq.Ft. Area with around 10,000 books which include more than 8000 text books, 1000 references books and 32 subscribed journals.

These are subject to change according the orders of the UGC, the AICTE, the State Government, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Commissioner of Cosmic College of Education and the Conveners of various UG and PG Common Entrance Tests etc. from time to time.The admission to the B.Tech. course, under “Category A” seats, is through a state level entrance test called “Engineering, Agricultural Sciences and Medical Common Entrance Test” (EAMCET), conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education. And The Admission into the MBA Course, Under Category “A” through the state level entrance test called “TS ICET (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test).

The Training & Placement Cell facilitates the process of placement of students passing out The Training and Placement Cell of our institute vigorously endeavors at shaping up the career prospectus of its students by exposing them to the actual world of work through a close rapport and liaison with industry and business houses .It extends hand holding support to its student for their appropriate placement on completion of their course of studies from the college .It acts as a two way bridge between the faculty / students of institute and the industry, which helps in flow of academic knowledge from institute and knowledge of practical operations and latest trends and techniques from the industry. This helps in meeting the dynamically changing demands of the industry/ workplace . The Training and Placement team comprises of T&P coordinators from each department, who submit proposals and recommendations pertaining to Training & Placemen needs of their respective departments .
