Mahatma Gandhi College was begun in 1992 as an associated College of Acharya Nagarjuna University by Sri Vasavi Academy of General and Technical Education, Guntur, an enlisted non-benefit society with the esteemed target of advancing specialized and advanced education. The College was advanced by Prof. D. A. R. Subrahmanyam, an unmistakable academician, with the favors of Sri Kanna Lakshmi Naryana, Former Minister,Andhra Pradesh.
