JOB DESCRIPTION
The tasks a Safety Testing Technician is expected to perform include:
Assuring that the appliance meets prescribed safety standards
Knowledge of safety parameters as per the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) or other standards
Testing safety parameters of the assembled United Power System (UPS), Power Line Communication (PLC), inverter, energy meter, oscilloscope, control panel, and automation units as per BIS or other standards
WORK ENVIRONMENT
It is not a desk job
Work from home option is not available
Part-time work and contractual jobs may be available
Local traveling is a part of this job role
May need to supervise junior workers or helpers
Working hours
Working hours are 9/10 hours every day for 5/6 days a week. This may vary from company to company
Being self-employed is also an option. In this case, the working hours and days will be flexible
Shift system may not be applicable
