University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) was established in 1917 in Bengaluru by Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya. The government college offers BArch and six engineering courses in Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Information Science and Civil Engineering. It is accredited with Grade ‘A’ by NAAC. Affiliated to Bangalore University, it comprises two campuses:

KR Circle Campus: It comprises the department of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering.

Jnanabharathi Campus: It comprises the department of Civil Engineering and Architecture

UVCE has state-of-the-art infrastructure, qualified faculty, hotel facilities, and a library. It has a cooperative society to meet the stationery needs of students and staff.
