HSNC University, Mumbai, is constituted under sub-section (6) of section 3 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016 (Mah. VI of 2017), the Government of Maharashtra vide notification no. Rusayo-2019/CR-186/UE-3 dated 30th October 2019 in the official gazette as a Cluster University comprising a cluster of the existing - HR College of Commerce and Economics, Churchgate, Mumbai as the lead college and Kishinchand Chellaram College, Churchgate, Mumbai and Bombay Teachers’ Training College, Colaba, Mumbai as the constituent colleges with H(S)NC Board as its parent body. H. R. College, K. C. College and Bombay Teachers’ Training College, A Grade Colleges as per NAAC accreditation, located strategically in South Mumbai, are eminent institutions of the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board, with national and global recognition. They are today acknowledged as role models to other institutions of the Board and the University of Mumbai, by their innovative academic, cultural, research, and outreach programs. The three Colleges have stood up to the challenges of keeping their curriculum dynamic by consistently introducing comprehensive approaches to teaching, learning and research. The HSNC University, Mumbai, provides placement and higher education opportunities to all students in India and abroad for students who graduate from their colleges. Several prominent industries and NGOs offer campus recruitment, and the colleges' Alumni constitute the “who’s who” in national and global professional sectors. Dr. Parag Gide is the director of placements, innovation, and incubation linkage. The university has its in-house placement cell, which is full-fledged and involved in the process for graduates. They have a special team to train and guide the students. They continuously connect to significant commerce and management companies to build connections and get their students' placements. The HSNC University, Mumbai, pushes its students to consider a single corporate internship per year and NGO-based internships in the three years of their courses. They work hard to get summer internships for students in human resources, marketing, management, finance, sales, and even content writing.
The Placement Cell has also organized several other events for the college, such as the Ernst & Young Scholarship Program, the KPMG Campus Ambassador Program, the Media Seminar - Viacom 18, HR Pulse and Article Ship Placements, and so on. Deloitte, Schbang, Capital First, KPGM, Grant Thornton Deutsche Bank, ICICI Bank, TATA Capital, J.P. Morgan, Kotak Mahindra, Reliance group, The Oberoi Group, and many others have provided excellent opportunities for students till now. The packages are usually in the range of 3-4 lakhs per year and go up to 6 lakhs per year at a minimum.
HSNC University Infrastructure and Facilities
HSNC University has an impressive list of facilities to provide for the existing and new students. They can enjoy all of the facilities after receiving university admission confirmation. All of the college campuses provide Wi-Fi for students to access easy internet service to work on their projects. The computer center has 65 upgraded computers with the latest software upgrade. The basic facilities of well-maintained classrooms, medical room, security services for the campus, cafeteria, transportation services, and many other facilities are available. Activities and facilities for student development
There are 21 research guides with state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities for the students who are interested in the subject of Research. There are social endeavors and extension activities with their NSS units to keep the students engaged with social activities and serve the environment in a better way. Collaborations and national and international links with other institutions are excellent sources of student experience and knowledge. All the 3 colleges are linked with various organizations and NGOs to fulfill their needs.
Learning and Conference Halls
The learning halls are spacious and equipped with ICT facilities to provide a fantastic experience for the students to learn and engage. The rooms are temperature-controlled, and the lighting is perfect too. At the same time, the air-conditioned conference hall is an ICT facility where seminars, workshops, conferences, and guest lectures. They have a video conferencing facility too.
The Assembly hall is also called the auditorium
The auditorium has surround sound and is centrally air-conditioned with an ample seating area. They host all the cultural and academic events here, along with conferences, seminars, workshops, and legal events.
Knowledge resource center
One of their law school's distinguishing features is its spacious and ventilated knowledge resource center. They have an extensive library of reference books, periodicals, journals, and online resources. Except for national holidays, it is open 365 days a year. They have a book bank facility where students can issue a book from the set of books available for a nominal fee that is not in the admission fees payment.
