ONLINE PHD IN OPTOMETRIC
PhD in optometry is a doctoral-level course. The duration of this course is the 3-years long and its syllabus is divided into 6-semesters and it provides on a part-time basis by various institutes. In this course candidates can also specialize in the area of Sports Vision, Low Vision Aids, Contact Lens, Paediatric Optometry, and Orthotics, Behavioural Optometry etc. It is the primary health care provider for the treatments and management of Refractive disorders and information processing. Eligibility
A Master’s degree is required to pick up
admission to the doctoral program. In certain subjects, completing the Masters
in the Philosophy (M.Phil.) is essential to begin PhD.
In cases, where the confirmation at the M.Phil. has been directed through the selection test and course work has been recommended at the M.Phil. level, such as M.Phil. students when admitted to the Ph.D. projects will not be required to the attempt placement test or course work and it will be considered to have agreed to the UGC (Minimum guidelines and methodology for the grant M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree).
