JOB DESCRIPTION
The tasks a Tyre Pre Cure Preparation Operator is expected to perform include:
Following pre-cure preparation process as per instructions
Loading the tyre on splice jamming machine using correct jammers for the selected tyre size
Applying the correct jamming cycle on each tyre
Inspecting jammed tyre for any open splice joints
Moving the jammed tyres to the painting area
Applying correct inside lubricant evenly inside the tyre
Using awl for manual or mechanical awl venting methods to vent the sidewall area of the tyre
Applying correct specified outside paint in the sidewall area and inside paint on the inside of the tyre covering from bead toe to bead toe
Ensuring that the tyre mould is sprayed with a very thin film of mould release lubricant before placing the tyre in the tyre press
Carrying out housekeeping, reporting and documentation, quality checks and problem identification and escalation activities
