Responsibilities
Coordinate all phases of development utilizing the available resources
Last Development – work with Design and Chinese based facilities
Pattern development – Able to convey design intent while simultaneously developing upper patterns for maximum material yield, manufacturability, cost, fit, and comfort.
Tooling Development – Work with the China-based Development Manager to develop from initial drawings through full size run commercialization.
Materials - Coordinate with Creative Director, Designers, and Materials Manager to select desired articles and qualify for confirmation at the component level by following required durability, quality and testing.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Business or an equivalent of 8 years’ experience in design and/or development of consumer products, with minimum 3 years of footwear development or engineering experience OR
4-6 years of footwear product development experience
Proven project management and problem-solving experience.
Excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
International and Domestic travel will be requested
