Idhaya College for Women was established by the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Puducherry in the Jubilee year 2000. It is set up to satisfy the vision of the 24th General section shaping self - dependent ladies of our inclination by giving advanced education regardless of standing and belief. The assemblage was begun in Puducherry in the year 1844. It understands the outright requirement for ladies' instruction. It solidly accepts that development in ladies' instruction would be instrumental in cultivating and raising the nature of family life. The school targets preparing the young ladies of value and serves the general public foul play and love. Each understudy while accomplishing information and scholarly life endeavors to sparkle magnificently and exceed expectations as an ideal model of ladies hood.
