GTTC was built up in 1972 at Bangalore with the investment of the Karnataka State Government, as a team with the Government of Denmark under the Bilateral Development Co-activity Agreement. The brilliant presentation of GTTC Bangalore, proactive Government of Karnataka which saw the requirement for development, got second unit of GTTC began in 1992 with DANIDA help.
