Completion of this training will satisfy the Ship Construction and Basic Stability training requirements as specified in Table A-II/1 of the STCW Code, As Amended 2010 for certification as Officer In Charge of a Navigational Watch on vessels of 500 or more gross tonnage (ITC). This training program places a heavy emphasis on theoretical and practical knowledge of topics. Successful completion of this training satisfies the Terrestrial Navigation training requirements in Table A-II/1 of the STCW Code, As Amended 2010 for certification as Officer in Charge of the Navigational Watch (OICNW) on vessels of 500 or more gross tonnage (ITC), provided that you have also completed our 44-Hour Coastal Navigation course within 12 months of the completion of this course.
