and Information Science (DLIS) course are largely based on a merit-based

on the Entrance Exam.

entrance examination for admission to the course is administered by some
institutes or colleges, so students will have to apply for such tests.
The candidates
must score above that cutoff mark.
A merit list of
applicants who scored above the cut-off marks is prepared and students are
invited by the respective institute or college for the admission process.
After the
applicant is finally allocated the seat, the student is supposed to deposit
the course fee and register for the respective academic year.
