Overview

M.Phil (Veterinary Anatomy & Histology) is a master level course. The duration of this course is generally 2-year and its syllabus is divide in 4-semesters of six month each. The main purpose of this course is to provide specialized training in animal treatment to the extent of highest expertise. M.Phil Veterinary Anatomy & Histology course provide helps candidates to understand and pursue the processes of research and anatomy and help them made up newer methods of dissection to better discover the parts of the animal.The course study involves dealing with equipment like the electronic microscope, cryostat and fluorescent microscope which helps candidates to carry out research in the later stages during the course and also helps them with newer discoveries and superior treatment. During the study time candidate introduce to the area is through the study of cell structure (histology) and the basic tissue of mammalian biology and musculo-skeletal anatomy. In this course degree holder study topographical anatomy (nerves, arteries, bones, muscles, veins); histology (microscopic anatomy of cells and tissues): neuroanatomy (anatomy and organisation of the nervous system) and embryology (development of an embryo from fertilisation to foetus stage).
