M.Phil (Sanskrit) is a research-level course. The main purpose of this course prepares candidates in the field of Sanskrit computational linguistics, the traditional sabdabodha theories, and thus bridging the gap between the present and past. During the study time candidates tough the basics of computer programming, logistics, statistics, mathematics and NLP in addition and strengthening their basics in Vyakarna. The course syllabus offers candidates with a basic knowledge of Sanskrit and practice of using Sanskrit in a variety of everyday situations. The M.Phil program offers candidates with a basis to approach research topics relating to Sanskrit literature and culture. In the program candidates gain knowledge on Sanskrit language and their scripts. During the course student will learn words, Sanskrit letters, punctuations, sentence formation etc.
