M.phil (Fruits & Orchard Management) is a Postgraduate Academic Research Degree course. Candidates are introduce to interconnecting the linkages between earth sciences and horticulture in this program. The course is suitable for those candidates who have gained the pertinent knowledge and skills of the field leading them to explore the field of research. The program involves the study of all types of plants including fruits, vegetables, as well as performance experiment to understand the breeding techniques, crop farming, physiology and genetic engineering involved in the field of research. in which candidates gain skills of analysis and evaluation to get to the crux of the problem and conduct the research with dexterity. The main purpose of this course at acquainting the candidates with the skills of leadership, designing, research and management which can be used in the future organizations. The duration of this course is generally 2-year (4-semesters).
