M.Phil (Fisheries Economics) is a research-level course. The program is suitable for those candidates who have strong interests, responsibility and enough knowledge about seafood marketing and fishing industry management. The main purpose of this course to provide a thorough understanding of key topics in marine and fisheries economics. The various topics involve measurement of efficiency and capacity; bioeconomic modeling and their empirical applications; the management of marine and fisheries resources; and applications of non-market valuation in the marine environment.
Eligibility:
- Candidates need to have a Master's degree in the related subject. Up-and-comers need to gain 55% marks in the associated subject at the postgraduate level to be viewed as qualified for the course. The rate Norm may fluctuate from Institute to Institute.
- A composed test possibly directed to evaluate the competitor's learning. The individuals who qualify in the composed test will be required to show up in a meeting. Certain establishments waiver passageway test if the applicant has qualified in NET, SET or proportionate national-level assessment.
