BA Hons. Drawing & Painting is a Degree level course. The course is most suitable for those candidates who have skills and good knowledge of drawing and painting. After its successful completion candidates may apply for the post of Muralist, Graphic Designer, Creative Director, Comic Artist, Design Director and Comic Book Artist, Arts Administrator, Visiting Artist, Art Director, Animation Programmer, Art Restoration Specialist and Commercial Artist. The aim of this course is to prepare candidates in drawing and painting skills through advance study and knowledge of common topics such as history of art, creative design, still life painting, elements of painting, Indian folk’s art, elements of painting, Indian folk’s art, Primitive art with reference to Indian Painting, Buddhist art, medieval art, Rajasthan style art, philosophy of art, current art in Indian painting and colour painting.
