BA in Social Science About

BA Social Science is a full-time undergraduate course the duration of which is three years. The aim of this course is to equip students with an advanced liberal arts education with elaborate lessons in writing, analysis and advancement -oriented critical thinking. The BA Social Science syllabus includes various components of study such as Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Geography, Political Science, Cultural Studies and Criminology. In order to be eligible to apply to this course, candidates are required to have passed Class 12 or any other equivalent examination in any discipline from a recognized board. Admission to this program will be done based on the candidate's performance in the entrance test followed by Counselling or on the basis of the candidate's performance in Class 12. However, if the candidates wish to go for further studies, they can pursue MA, MA Social Work, MA Sociology etc.
