ONLINE PHD IN INTERNATIONAL LAW
This highly specialized PhD program offers
in-depth and comprehensive coursework in international law.
It is one of the world’s only two doctoral
programs in this field offered by the intergovernmental organization constituted
under international law (the other being offered by the European University
Institutes and it is a PhD in Law more generally, with the European emphasis).
EUCLID (Pôle Universitaire Euclide | Euclid
University), an international intergovernmental organization with a
university mandate, offers to select candidates from the general public an
external (distance or online) degree program called the EUCLID DILT which is the
full PhD in International Law and Treaty Law.
In terms of academic progression, EUCLID’s
intention is to offer a credible path leading from the LLM (24 credits) to
the MSc (additional 12 credits) and finally to the PhD (another 25 credits of
the coursework or directed studies, followed by the dissertations).
As a public non-profit institution, EUCLID is able to offer affordable, low-tuition programs.

Participating States and can be considered an excellent route to pursue a
career within governmental bodies, and international law firms, academia, NGOs
and international organizations.
Thanks to its low tuition and institutional

Small States students.
