A student seeking admission to PhD in Geography course shall apply on a prescribed form.
Admission to the PhD degree course is open once in the year i.e. (September/ October).

Entrance Based Admission

Admission to the program is done through entrance examination as well. Students will have to pass the entrance examination in the relevant subject to get admission to the course.
The concerned Department Committee may give exemption for PhD entrance test and course work to a deserving candidate.
If a candidate holds a PhD degree in a related subject from a recognized university, he/she may be exempted from entrance tests and coursework for admission to PhD
