The M.Tech. PhD in Soil and Water Conservation is a two-year graduate course divided into four six-month semesters. This course essentially explores the concepts and techniques for efficient use of soil and water, with the ultimate goal of improving soil productivity and preventing and combating water waste. The basic qualification required to apply for the course is a degree in a related field (BE/B.Tech.) from a recognized university. This course is offered in India and has an average annual course fee of 2 lac to 6 lac. Fees vary by institution.
To be admitted to this course, you must have a degree in Agricultural/Civil Engineering or other related specialization (B.E./B.Tech.) from an accredited university with an overall score of at least 60%.It is also recommended that the candidate has at least one year of her work experience as most educational institutions give preference to candidates with work experience.Final year exam candidates may also provisionally enroll in courses.
