Step 1: Application Process: The application forms will be released in the website of the colleges where the candidates must apply before the deadline. The forms can be collected physically from the university campus as well.
Step 2: Initial Shortlisting: Initially, the colleges will shortlist the candidates for Certificate in Yoga Course largely on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the 10+2 or graduation level.
Step 3: Personal Interview and Skill Test: A Personal Interview and Skill Test may be organised where the candidates will be asked various questions related to Yoga. They will also be asked to display their Yoga skills.
Step 4: Document Verification: The finally selected candidates will be called for physical verification of documents. The documents will be verified by the officials to check the eligibility of the candidates.
Step 5: Enrollment: The candidates found eligible during document verification will be enrolled to the Certificate in Yoga Education course.
If you want a seat in the top 10 colleges, you will have to score at least 80% or more in 10+2 and graduation to be on the safer side.

Appear confident in front of the college authorities, and don't get nervous if they ask you any question.
Try to gain as much knowledge as you can on the various Yoga principles and asanas. Also try to remember the good effects of various asanas. These may be asked during the personal interview.
Along with these, try to have some physical Yoga skills as well. This will come handy if you are asked to give a live demonstration of your yoga skills

The candidates must have completed minimum 10+2 from a recognised board or university.
The candidates must obtain minimum 50% aggregate marks in the 10+2 level.

If the candidates wish to teach in schools, then after completing their graduation in Yoga, they can join a B.Ed course which will give them better opportunities as a teacher.
The candidates can join Fitness Training centres as trainers or even can start their own fitness training centres and become self employed.
