Overview

M.Phil (Traditional Scientific Knowledge System (Ayurveda Etc) is a master's degree course. The Ayurveda course has been designed to provide candidates to an in-depth insight into the subject along with all the possible dimensions which the subject can inculcate. Ayurveda is a specific subject related to the application of traditional and ancient medicinal knowledge for therapeutic and rehabilitation purpose. The research degree course centered on imparting practical level skills in the domain so, that the students are able to practice the traditional medicine for therapeutic purpose. The duration of this course is 2 year (4 semesters). Candidates are involved in research and practice on Ayurveda system of medicine and other aspects connected to the domain as a part of their academic curriculum. The main purpose of this course is mainly to revive the medicinal and pharmaceutical knowledge in regards to natural medicine so, as to provide a sustainable and suitable care to the patients.
