Agril. Agril. Meteorology & physics & physics is the comprehensive study of weather and the process of forecasting. M.Phil Agril. Meteorology & physics lays across to students a platform for imbibing in them the necessary traits and skills in becoming competent meteorologists in the future. The course also builds for students a platform for building their core strength in the subject field and thereby go on to take up higher studies in the field of research and Ph.D. in the subject.

The program imbibes in students the understanding of physical processes and its subsequent effect on the climate and atmosphere of Earth. Agril. Meteorology & physics deals with the happenings surrounding atmosphere and an in-depth knowledge of its interaction with soil, water, and vegetation on the surface. M.Phil Agril. Meteorology & physics course also induces in the candidates the skills of understanding how to gather data, analyze, and forecast based on the collected data in addition to converting them into a computer model.
